Gerrit Nicholas is the Chief Investment Officer, Co-Founder and a Managing Partner at OIC and is responsible for leading the firm’s investment activities. Gerrit is Chair of the Investment Allocation Committee, Chair of the ESG Committee, a member of the Operating Committee, and a member of all OIC Investment Committees. Prior to founding OIC, Gerrit spent six years as President and Managing Partner of K Road DG and K Road Power where he led the acquisition and development of renewable energy and power storage companies / assets. Prior to that, Gerrit spent six years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Head of Environmental Commodity Sales where he led Goldman’s U.S. renewable energy and carbon market transactions, structuring commodity linked credit, and equity transactions for Goldman and its clients. While at Goldman Sachs, he also led commodity risk management and commodity linked capital raising activities for the U.S. municipal and cooperative power sectors. Previously, Gerrit headed development and merger and acquisition activities for The AES Corporation in Southern Europe. While at AES, Gerrit’s activities focused on the company’s investments in thermal and renewable generation assets, natural gas, and LNG infrastructure.

Ethan Shoemaker is Investment Partner and is responsible for leading OIC’s Infra Credit platform. Ethan manages OIC’s office in Houston and is a voting member of the Investment Committees for Infra Credit and Infra Growth and a voting member of the ESG Committee. Prior to joining OIC, Ethan was in the Natural Resources Group of Goldman Sachs' investment banking division, where he provided M&A and financing advisory services to Goldman’s power and utility clients with a specific focus on generation assets. Prior to joining the investment banking division, Ethan worked in Goldman’s commodity structuring and risk management business (J. Aron & Co.) where he worked with corporate and financial sponsor clients to structure commodity hedge and commodity-linked financing products.

Matthew Kondratowicz

Matt Kondratowicz is Managing Director and Head of the Investment Performance & Optimization Group responsible for driving value creation, improving efficiency, executing follow-ons and divestitures, and mitigating risk across OIC's investment portfolio. Prior to joining full-time, Matt served as an advisor to OIC, including assisting in the execution of the Bakersfield Renewable Fuels investment. Previously, Matt spent 7 years at CSL Capital Management, where he led numerous buyouts, growth equity, corporate carve-outs, and de novo investments in the energy sector. Prior to that he spent two years as Vice President at the Deutsche Bank Masdar Cleantech Fund and two years as Associate at Citi Sustainable Development Investments; in both roles he provided growth equity to renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure companies. Over his career, Mr. Kondratowicz has played a leading role in transactions totaling over $2.0 billion in capital. Matt started his career as an Assistant Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York focusing on international trade, economic development, and global energy markets.

Igor Radomyshelsky is Vice President in the Investment Performance & Optimization Group and is responsible for the evaluation, due diligence, monitoring, and execution of investments. Igor primarily focuses on driving value creation, improving efficiency, executing follow-ons and divestitures, and mitigating risk across OIC’s investment portfolio. Prior to joining OIC, Igor was Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division where he spent three years as a member of the Natural Resources Group in London, and two years with the Technology Group in San Francisco. During his time there, Igor provided M&A, financing, and activism defense advisory services to clients in the energy, power and utilities, infrastructure, oil field services, industrial software, and mobility sectors with a focus on the energy transition. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Igor worked for Royal Dutch Shell where he restructured financial reporting procedures for the US upstream business, managed the construction, commissioning, and startup of the largest refinery in North America, and executed strategic transactions as a member of the corporate M&A team.

Michael Yang

Michael Yang is Group Vice Chairman and Chairman of CTCI, he is responsible for guiding management in setting CTCI's crucial goals and strategies; exercising accountability for global operations and business expansion according to the Board. He previously served as Vice Chairman, President, Executive Vice President, and Senior Vice President of CTCI Corporation. Michael holds an MBA from the EMBA Program in Business Administration at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tatung University.
